Thank you for your enquiry, it is an over the pond rod - Sage TCR #5 with just enough uuummmph to get to the other side with some delicacy and just enough to get a leader out at close range. It is a rod that can handle most river trout and I have seen people hook up with trout of a similar size on a 2 weight and be there for hours playing the fish and then the fish keels over in the end. Prefer to see the fish live another day these days.
