Default Fur/Hair ID help req'd

Please.
Rummaging around in my Fly Tying Hair/Fur Drawer recently I came across two unlabelled items and am wondering what they might be.

No1.

No2.

The only clue if it is a clue that I can give is that both items were given to me from a friend who was an amateur tyer who is no longer with us. So the items might not necessarily be available now.

Any help/direction would be appreciated.

Cheers

I'll go with dyed fox fur, it might be a home-dyed one though as I don't recall ever seeing dyed fox in any catalogue.
