Nice job Lawrence, The polar Bear is a brilliant natural material with limitless uses in flydressing.
Try some in your dabblers,What a difference it makes!.

Also save the underfur it makes a great dubbing

Very nice fly there Laurie. Good wing, the tail looks a bit short proportionally to the wing/hackle but can see why you'd want it that way. The pb reminds me of gp crest in the translucency stakes although with a finer taper to the fibre and greater mobility.

Have to say ,,, the use of the polar bear,, is sad.... dont think the PR ,, will do you much good

With 20-25,000 polar bears living in the wild, the species is not currently endangered, but its future is far from certain

Thumbs down from me

The bear is a rogue that was shot legally. All the necessary paper work are all in order for anybody to see. Its not often that a bear skin is available for sale as there is a world wide waiting list for then and it can take years for your name to come up again.
