You're obviously tying up some nymphs Craigie. It might also be worthwhile trying the Hends UV-Ice Dubbing & Hends UV Blend Dubbing as there is some wonderful colours in the range and great for hotspots and thoraxes.

cheers bert,your correct mate nymphs it is,i have a trip to the czech republic in may coming up & although i have more nymphs than i know what to do with i am going to rattle up plenty more.

I congratulate you on the choice of destination, though if I were you I would bring some dries as well; May can bring some spectacular caddis hatches on the rivers over here, and it would be very bad manners fishing a short line nymph to rising fish

Nice one Craigie. What part are you going to and what rivers are you fishing over there?

I've been over to the Czech Republic a few times and I have to say I love the river fishing over there. I have only been down in South Bohemia though and fished the Vltava around Vyssi Brod and Rozmberk, the Tepla Vlatava by Dobla, Volary and Lenora, the Otava by Susice, the Volynka by Strakonice and the Malse.

Fantastic fishing and I'd love to be going back but any money I have now (and most of the Irish Nation) is going to the European Central Bank and the IMF so trips abroad seem to be over I'm afraid
