Default jig hooks

While waiting for some jig hooks in the post I tried bending a few various Kamasans immediately behind the head. Bead goes on OK and can't see why it wouldn't swim correctly. Anyone else tried this and made it work?

I suppose it might, but for a grayling with max weight of say 2lb, shouldn't be a problem I presume? The ones I've bent still seem fairly strong,

I've done it before, it works perfect on the stronger wire kamasans,
I wouldnt do it on the fine wire hooks.
