Default First attempt at hair.

Again credit must go to John [Arkle], who looked a bit unsure when I suggested it for our second Sunday morning session, because I'm sure I couldn't do this on my own.

Anyhoo, the muddler minnow. The squirrel has gone a bit squirrelly, but I'm chuffed with the overall result.

Great muddler that mate

Mine are still a bit hit and miss to be honest , I don't even both trimming for a neat head . I really rough cut and leave spiky , unless it is one for a forum pic then a bit more effort is made

Hello brownsville, Really very good tying and you'll catch fish on that no bother.

Thanks for the comments all. If someone had told me a few weeks ago that I would be attempting stuff like this, I would have laughed long and hard, but John is a great teacher, and a top bloke.

Only wish I'd started forty years ago, but it wouldn't have happened at all without the forum.

You sicken me.

Seriously though, damn fine work there Mike. I can see you'll have your winter nights full this year. Let's just hope you use your new found powers for good. I'd hate to see you turn to the dark side and use frit... no, I've said enough. Keep it up mate.
