Default You have been bugging me.

I gave myself a break this afternoon to do some much needed fannying about, so out came the CDC

The way March Browns hatch and their wing sits has been annoying me since last April, sure we all have patterns that work but this was to satisfy me that a wing could be done that sits like the naturals. I think i have cracked it with the Paraloop using CDC, I just hope it works?

A bit more messing about is required to get the thorax right but i think i am getting there with this one.

I like it, good colours and body, very nice work there Mr Buzz.
I would be happy with a couple dozen for xmass, size #24 - 26 (black, chocolate & olive). I have a new batch of Toffee to share

Aye sort of, i watched them twice hatch in a shallow riffle maybe a foot deep. Their wings were not like the sail boats you would expect, they were more haunched, denser maybe... if that's what you mean yes.
I will take a snap of the fly from underneath, maybe it will illustrate what i was trying to do better.

SS what do you mean rag, the bit i missed or do you think it would benifit from being scruffier?

Thanks for the feedback folks I like messing about.
