mashama hooks in black

Saturday night ordered a few #12 black salmon hooks from Mashama .
Monday am get email confirmation
tuesday arrived securely packed
On inspection I found the black finished hooks were all identical ,well finished , good temper ,good sharp points, some where between a code p and code q in wire gauge.
as always with a hook new to me the first one in the vice was abused to destruction ,yes it bent ,but it took some effort ,and these are the smallest.
size available ,I would rate the strength as matching code P with which I can really put the welly into fish .
I will be getting some more .As the price is good at £4.00 for 10 .
not a totally unbiased opinion ,I have spent some enjoyable days with Mr Mashama ,aka Bloke ,aka Mick Bell , but would never recommend anything i would not use , and these will be swimming the streams some time next summer .
