Default The Mustad 37161 Hook

Otherwise known as The English Bait Hook.

There are a loads of different types of fishing hooks. At the macro level, there are bait hooks, fly hooks and lure hooks. Within categories there are wide varieties of hook types designed for different applications. Hook types differ in shape, materials, points and barbs, and eye type and ultimately in their intended application.

The Mustad 37161 hook is described as size 14 Wide Gape Slightly Reversed T up ball-eye and Nickelplated. The hooks are available from Start among others.

Just look at the size of those barbs !!!! You would have to be a genius to get that out without ripping the mouth.

Think I'll stick to barbless
