thank you Sean..this was the most interesting fly I've tied in a while..the hardest part was finding the material I needed..legs and eyes..but this is Canada and you can find gold in the streets...

Lovely fly, screams eat me. Whats the hookhold like with hooks bent backwards like that? Would make a very iteresting nymph hook in much smaller sizes.

Hi Mark...thanks , for Ur comment, say I hope you post pics of those flies in Ur swap..looking forward to seeing them...

danielp..well I used a 'nymph hook' in that shrimp..it is a Daiichi style 1870 in a size 10..it is used for nymphs and wets..this hook allows the shrimp once it has been 'leaded' to sit in and upright position when you are fishing it, I also use this hook for various other flies as well.

wingman..no m8 no rice for this Italian..can never get full if you catch my drift..Ahh..what's this about my squid being 'ill'..do you mean it looks pale..I think U lost me on Ur comment...

Ah grasshopper let me enlighten you in british monetary slang terms. You peeps over the pond there have alternative words for the $ like 'buck' and we us britpeeps have like so and quid is another name for the £ so six quid would be £6. So now you might get my cheesy little pun.

I've been informed that it is quite common to fish the Atlantic Salmon with of all things..Dyed Shrimp/or Prawns and so to try and convince a bloke to try fishing for them with a 'fly', this came for my tying desk...
