As will I. Here on the upper Rogue River we have a 'fly only' fishing season that runs for several months. You can use a 'standard' fly set up (rod/reel/line/etc) or a 'spinning rod/float' as long as there's no additional weight added below the float. The fly could be tied with any amount of lead wire you want, just nothing else between 'it' and the float.
One of the most successful float guys I know ties a dark body (6xx long hook) fly with a white bead at the back. The bloody thing is damned effective!
