Folks,

Any Foremark locals about? Do you have have an interest in tying or maybe are you looking to start tying?

I've just posted a new thread in the club events section to give details of the upcoming flytying evenings.

Please see Foremark Flyfishers for further info,

Thanks

Jason

Quick update, 1st session of flytying at the new venue (John Thompson - Ingleby) was an outstanding success on Monday evening.

A total of 29 people turned up for the evening and this included a good number of new faces a was vast improvement from the sessions held last year where we lucky to get into double figures !

A thoroughly enjoyable evening was had by all and a big thanks go to Ray and Wendy Gibson of Wendy's flies for providing instruction, advice and materials to all who needed it.

Dont forget !

Week 2. Monday 29th November7.45pm

Wendy will demonstrate and cover the tying of Nymphs and Wet Fly patterns, to include a Pheasant Tail Nymph, a Hare's Ear, a Black Pennell and a DDL/Hopper

Thanks,

Jason

Default Update

Latest update following Mondays Fly Tying evening, I am pleased to say despite the bad weather that a total of 26 people turned out for the latest session (nymphs) at the John Thompson, Ingleby.

Again new faces and old alike had an enjoyable evening tying and hopefully learning a new technique or two and another big thanks go to Ray and Wendy Gibson of Wendy's flies for providing instruction, advice and materials to all who needed it.

Next session (6th December) will focus on general Lures, and will move on to patterns such as the Damsel, Minkie, Zonker and Tadpole.

Why not come along and join us ?

Please see our recently launched website for further information.
