Default Beads on Minky Tails?

Hi Guys

Would anyone know how to fix a bead onto a minky or a marabou tail?

I was wondering what stops it coming off.

Many thanks

If the Mink/Rabbit is thick enough MFJ, then it shouldn't really come off.

Other than that, as CR has said, Glue

Go for Superglue GEL, as this wont wick up along the fibres.

Before you tie the strip onto the hook. Use a plastic bead, preferably taper-drilled. Feed it onto the rabbit/mink strip with the tapered end going along the grain of the fur. Once you've reached the desired position, pull the bead back a few mms. & then apply a small drop of deercreeks Croc glue, (it's waterproof unlike most superglues) to the root of the skin on both upper & lower sides then slide the bead onto it & either put it aside to dry (better) or tie in carefully.
