Default Pink Bugs

Gonna have to tie some pink bug/czech nymphs for this winter. Anyone care to share any recipes?

Have a look at these Ray, if they don't turn you on, you aint got no switches.
I got some of the Polish Biots from him yesterday, gorgeous things.

The fly i use is a very simple to tie one, Firstly you want a nice heavy grub hook (a normally have 14's and 16's for grayling) onto this i put a 2.5mm pink tungsten bead. for thread i use pink glo brite floss, then red utc wire for the rib. Once you have a nice slim tapered body I dub on very thinly (so you can just see a bit of the floss through it) some shrimp pink sow scud. Then wind on the rib and tie off. You can put some extra lead onto the hook if you like, but I find the tungsten head gets the fly down quick enough without it.

Paul.

sow scud dirty pink or the brighter version with a red wire rib with/without tungsten bead or with a black thorax. Deadly for grayling but dont look passed them for trout at the back end either

those look like egg flies Supposed to be very good when the trout and salmon start spawning and the grayling just lie behind them to mop up any eggs that break free from the gravel
