Default Can't stop loving Enrico Puglisi Fibres

I use a lot of different materials for salt water flies but EP's fibres are still fantastic.

Cheers Mr Trout. He still makes the best blends by far.

Steve, Mr Trout,

I quite like EP fibres as well, especially their blends, which as you say, are undoubtedly the best. I also admit to tying the odd fly with EP, although having just counted...91 packs of the stuff might be a tad OTT methinks;

Oh yeah, and I use the teddy bear eyes on the odd occasion as well

Great ties by the way Steve. Very nice, even, albeit, sparse distribution of materials.

91 packs. Good lord man, I think I have three.
I use it mainly for wingposts on dries though, looks like a production line in your house G.

Holey smokes! And I thought I was bad. I haven't countered but I probably have 30+. Even then I didn't have a colour I needed. No lavender. I might ask if you were short a colour and wanted to swap but you've probably got everything and more! His new products are very cool...the brushes etc.

Ps re the flies above, I wasn't that happy with the pinfish. Numbers 2,3,4 and 5 were better.

Limitations as to colours available from UK outlets, and prices are a bit steep as well.

I do get the colours that are available in the UK from Oz UK Saltwater Fly Fishing - UKSALTWATERFLIES.COM or Nigel at Fly-tying materials and fly tying tools and accessories - Lakeland Fly-Tying

Unfortunately, as with everything in the UK, it is pretty pricey, and I do confess to buying most of my stuff from the US. If you look you can normally find it for around $5 or a little more per pack, which makes it pretty cheap. However, I am fortunate enough to be able to pick my orders up on my visits to the US.

If this were not the case, now customs are checking everything, and anything being shipped into the UK, any package with a retail value of over $40 is normally subject to import duty and vat. Therefore, at the moment, with the current exchange rate being what it is, there is no real monetrey saving in buying from the US if you have to pay duiy etc.,.....Works out about the same, so unless the colours you want are not available in the UK, there is no real point in buying from the US right now.

Steve, Nothing wrong with that number one, but numbers two, three, four and five are ALWAYS better than number one.)

JS Fly Fishing: Rod Building, Fly Tying: EP Fibers

This Is where I buy most of my stuff but then I travel regularly to the US

The best source is from the epflies website. It's a bit more expensive but he has everything. The brushes make tying shrimp patterns easy.
