Tungsten putty you can get from Crystal River in Dunchurch near Rugby. Very easy to use, and sets rock hard, and can be coated with UV-setting cement.

Veniard's did a rubber sheeting with Tung. particles in it, but it was atrocious stuff to tie with as it was to thick, cut very easily with tying thread & didn't like conforming to hook shapes. Tung. wire is quite hard & won't either wind or cut easily. Beads are by far your best bet.

thanks for the replies lads, want the tungsten sheeting to replace lead in a few patterns i use, anyone else know where i might source some

try these , scroll down to tungsten foil ,its cut to order by the square inch or foot etc ..
