Fly recommendation for a small still water

Hi All,

I'm fishing Barlow lakes tomorrow in Derbyshire. For those who are not familiar it's a group of 4 small stillwaters, relatively shallow. (Fishing in Barlow, Derbyshire).

I'm fishing as part of a group being taught (Pete Arfield).

I'd like to tie up a few of my own patterns, and perhaps give a couple away to the other 'pupils'.

What would you guys recommend for a water like this? Having not had a great deal of luck with natural imitations I'm focussing on these at the moment.

Any advice appreciated!

not too experienced in tying myself but u cant go wrong starting off with a few fritz patterns especially after seing the lake the fish are probably caught within a few weeks of being put in so will be still aggressive towards lures.
