Midge Cluster

Hello all been tying a few snowshoe fly patterns the last few days & have got a little bundle of waste snowshoe to use up. I noticed a couple of pattern for a small snowshoe midge cluster that would be good for using up some of these scraps. This pattern Cannon's Snowshoe Midge Cluster, Adult, 18 & also this pattern Snowshoe Midge Cluster - Fly Fishing Forums one pattern has a dubbed body & one looks like its got a black thread body & a grizzle hackle.Does anyone use either of these patterns & find them effective . Cheers
