Default Synthetics you wouldn't like to become obsolete!

Every now and then a synthetic material becomes obsolete or very difficult to obtain. Lureflash Mosaic would be a good example when it became difficult to obtain. My question is, what synthetic material would you snap up in several packets if you had inside info that it was going to be taken off the market place? Personally, I'd snap up some of the Glo-brite shades, Mirror Flash, the nice reddy claret holographic tinsel (I think thats aready hard to get actually) Gee, I bet there's loads!

Couldn't you produce your own Spectra dubbing No. 45 mixing lite brite dubbing etc? you wouldn't be stuck there...?

not at'all.. the texture of dubbings has alot to do with the tyers choice of dubbing aswell.. and that mix doesnt come close

Mirage and mirror flash are a very similar product, eh! Fine mirage would be mirror flash. Either way, far superior to the old pearly tinsels of latter years, least the fish seem to think so.

As emerger1981 says, lite brite doesn't come close to Spectra for how i use it, mainly thoraxes for Klinks and nymphs. Spectra is much finer, compacts very well, dubs superbly, sparkles a lot and is far less mither than tying in and winding peacock herl. I suppose if Spectra dissapeared, i coud go back to herl though!
