Default Ta guys

Thanks guys,

I have been using feiry brown allot on the put and takes for bows, and the trout have been picking it out on the cast. Even tried a traditional wet in the middle of lures and they are nailing it. Might be shyness, might just be something different, have any of you's tried it? Would be interested to hear.

I use that shade more for dries than I do in my pulling flies to be honest Sam.I like it particularly when the shield bugs are around but it also does a job for corixa feeders strangely, and when the fish are mopping up those big gingery buzzer shucks after a hatch.

A pal of mind showed me a nice wee dabbler that he tied using one of your FB saddles over a copper body and a wee peachy-orange tail. He's been catching well with it in the middle of the cast on our local loch.He nailed a nice sea trout on Lomond with it when I was out with him recently.

Nice ties and a great colour as well. I have a lot of faith in a fiery brown hopper which seems to do better than black for me.

I wouldn't like to think what you feed your donkey to get that colour though!!!!
