Has anyone got any tying details for the Pert Shrimp ? or a picture ?

its not the pert shrimp its the "blue licer".was when i made it 3or4 years ago and was when i gave a pert fisherman one.wont be so kind with my new one lol

Come on Brass Gaff, tell the truth about the patterns components.
As I remember your fly has a specific body material.
'Porsche motor car body trim'.
Yes, you do not see that in the magazines. It really is very good stuff and can be used for quite a lot of other patterns, in fact, anything that needs a silver or gold rib or body.
Even though they have no rib, I am sure that your flies will outlive in both 'durability' and 'catchability' a lot of others.
I have it in good authority that you have a new pattern for next year. Apparently one or two of your guests had had very good results with the 'Deceptor' I have been speaking to one of them who just happens to be colour blind and this pattern stands out to him even brighter than the Blue Licer itself !

Silk Black Sparton Micro
Tail Hot Orange Bucktail with 4 strands of UV winging material
Body Porsche Body Trim (Strong gold flat tinsel)
Wing Black Arctic fox, optional extra 2 strands of UV winging material
Heckle Hot Orange hen, or cock
Jungle cock cheeks
