Obviously we have great local tiers here on this side of the Pond, but most (not all) of our flies are 'take-offs' of some sort which started (or still are) Atlantic Salmon flies.

Anyone want to join in and 'educate' your 'Colonial Brethren?'

I would have named Peter Deane and Colonel Esmond Drury; despite it being a steelhead, not salmon, fly thread.
