best material advice

Hi guys was out for the day yesterday and a lot of fish beaing caught on rubber leg daddies,now the question.
What is the best material for the legs and where do you get it from looking to make red,black and green.

For me the best legs are the round rubber, however they do perish. silicone legs are nearly as good but softer and fold up when the fly is pulled, on the up side they last forever
Where to buy them in the UK? I don't know, I get mine from the states.

pole elastic is pretty good, it can be found in the coarse section of most tackle shops. Different brands have different colours for the various diameters.

I was in "The Range" last week and I spotted a bag of lazie bands, there must be a hundred or more in the bag. Every colour you can think of and they are all thin. Look about right to me. Got to worth a shot for a quid. I'm going back on Tuesday, think I'll get some. Give me a shout if you don't have a "Range" near you and you want to try em out.
