I have never seen this pattern, but if you google it you will get 12 million hits. Good luck.

White polyprop yarn I think although some use CDC. Personally I don't bother.

BOB!! settle this mate.. where are ya?
the original was tied with seal fur body (scruffy) and a cock hackle tied and brushed backwards possibly held back with a few over turns like i do
i thought a man of your calibre would of known that midlander..

I've only been at it a 30 odd years emerger, I can't remember every damned thing, besides, I'm more into wets. I saw the polyprop wing version in a mag years ago and not knowing Mr Worts, or his original, I was in no position to contradict.

So, you're saying I tie mine as per original dressing? That's nice to know. Anyway, bits maestro, are you going to do a photographic step by step for this complex pattern or not?
