Default Daddy comparison

Posted these pics of a daddy in my office recently: When Daddy came to my office....

...and then saw a post on how to do a deerhair detatched body (can't remember from whom). So I had a play around last night and here's the first result . Real daddy pic alongside for comparison.

and one a bit more "Scratch Stylee":

Not sure whether to trim under the hackle for a lower ride or leave as is.
(..and I know mine has extra legs but 2 are for the trouts teeth)

Whats that behind the hackle on the closeup? Looks like the end of the deer hair tied up?

Thanks for the comments guys.

Mot; Yes, it's just the way the deerhair bunched when I tied it down hard to the hook shank
