Default Barrio Fly Lines

BARRIO MALLARD FLY LINES have gained a strong following over the years, with their nice supple feel, next to no memory and specially designed tapers, these fly lines are simply superb and offer great value for money!

Anglers of all levels of casting ability will find the Mallard a very easy fly line to cast. Suitable for most fishing styles and techniques, these high quality fly lines are certainly capable of casting a good distance, but more importantly, capable of accurate and delicate casts at normal fishing ranges.

Our Mallard WF and DT fly lines are simply superb and offer great value for money at just £22 including worldwide postage!

BARRIO GT140 FLY LINES (Previously called: "The Barrio Outcast") 140 ft long .... with great turnover at distance!

The Barrio GT140 fly line has superb turnover, which allows large flies to be cast with control even in the lighter line sizes and still provides excellent presentation of small flies when combined with a tapered leader. Our 90 ft WF2F to WF4F versions are proving extremely popular, as they give you such great line control in all manner of fishing situations.

Our long, almost continuous rear taper, after the relatively short belly and front taper, produces a line that will load a rod well at short range for "off the tip" casts, yet it allows huge lengths of line to be aerialised under control when distance is required. This design combined with a new high performance coating allows anglers to shoot line from any length that they are comfortable with.

The Barrio GT140 excels at distance and provides a real alternative to other top end distance lines currently on the market, but with one real difference .... it is a superb fishing line!

The Barrio GT140 offers great value for money at just £25 including worldwide postage!

BARRIO GT90 INTERMEDIATE FLY LINES are slow sinking ( approx 1 IPS ) and ideal for keeping your flies under control in the sub-surface taking zone. This new design helps with great aerial line control for both accuracy and distance casting. The "Greengrass" green colour looks quite at home in amongst the weed and is excellent for a stealthy approach to wary, selective fish, yet nice and visible in the water to the angler.

Smooth and supple, effortless casting, the new Barrio GT90 intermediate lies nice and straight in the water and feels slick in your hand. An excellent all rounder, the line lifts off the water very well for an intermediate. A great fly line for anglers of all levels of casting ability.

The Barrio GT90 intermediate is available in WF4I to WF8I and offers great value for money at just £25 including worldwide postage!

Thumbs up recommendation

I bought a DT 4 Barrio Mallard in olive - it is a lovely line for river fishing and a fantastic price.

I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

I am most definitely not connected with this firm in anyway (although they can send me a free one if they like), if I'd found it to be cr*p then equally I would have said so.

But they're not - deserves support.

Must say the Outcast line is awesome, it picks up from distance easily and sits very high in the water!
A very happy customer

Absolutely superb lines for the money.

Might have a go at that outcast line for this season.

Great service from Mike too. Ordered a line on wednesday afternoon, arrived thursday morning. Impressed with the coating the no memory.

Best quality, non big brand line I have used.

Ryan I will give you my thoughts on the outcast after the weekend. Only tried it on the river so far with speys. Very impressed so far. Will give it a more thorough play with this weekend and let you know.

Default Super!

I use a 4# DT for rivers and love it, I also wrote an amateur review on my blog (link below) last year, the lines still good as new, complete bargain.
