Hi mate, just wondering what kind of reel you normally use when dapping? I assume there's no fly line needed, just monofilament and dapping floss to make the wind catch it?

Thats it mate any old reel will do. Used this set up on Loch Lomond a long time ago for sea trout. The guy fishing the dap in the middle to bring up fish then the guys on the bow and stern fishing wets through them.
