For sale, Guideline lpxe 11ft 7/8, four piece fly rod (new style) with Guideline 4Cast fly line AFTM 7.
Rod has been used for about 6 months, but i'm moving up a few line sizes for my single handed salmon fishing, as i'm finding a 7 struggling in wind, or with brass tubes/poly leaders.
This is a great lightweight Salmon/Grilse/Sea Trout rod, or for boat work. great line control and can be used either single handed, or double handed. Packs well into a car boot, with the four piece format.
The Guideline 4 Cast fly line matches the rod really well. It came out tops in the Trout and Salmon river fly line reviews. It has a short head and takes the running line out quickly with a short stroke and high stop. Comes with a fitted Roman Moser braided loop.
Both are in mint condition, as anyone who has bought off me before will testify, my stuff is well looked after. No marks on rod blank or any other places. The rod handle has been treated with U40 cork seal, which keeps the dirt off and stops any filler falling out.
