Default 2 Joan Wulff Signature Taper Lines for sale

I have two of these lines I bought back from the States. They are superb lines but my preference is for the Barrio Floaters. I was tempted to hold on to the JW lines but I know I'll never use them so I might just as well try and get something back for them.

Both Floaters #6 and #7. BOTH SOLD

Both lines are White (Ivory?) with an orange running line.

This is the Royal Wulff blurb:

>>Joan Wulff has designed an easy-casting weight forward line with a change of color between the weighted section and the handling and shooting line. The 32'-38' head (depending on size) is ivory. The 8' handling line and shooting line are orange. With this visual and tactile reference, this line helps to improve everyone's casting. These lines are very much like the conventional Triangle Taper designed by Lee Wulff, except each line has a thickened "handling line" section between the head and the fine diameter shooting line. This line is easier to hang on to than the shooting line and also diminishes the hinge effect when the head is extended several feet past the rod tip. Joan's lines feel slightly heavier than other TT's of the same weight designation.<<

They have seen little use and I am after £20 each plus a quid for postage. Difficult to get in the UK but you would pay the same price as the Lee Wulff lines ie. £55.

If you do not agree about the condition, I will offer a full refund, less postage as soon as I receive the line back.

PM me if interested.

Thumbs up

These are very good beginners lines, as the head length is very easily managed and they shoot very well for distance. They also roll cast superbly.

Whats the difference between a Joan and a Lee Wulff?

If I might ask?

Ben

Joan was a championship winning caster before she even met her, now late, husband Lee Wulff.

Many thanks; just wondered if they were in the same 'family' of lines so to speak.

See the blurb in my opening post. I think the most relevant bit about difference between her line and Lee's is:

>>Joan's lines feel slightly heavier than other TT's of the same weight designation.<<

Which is why they are easier to cast for those who struggle a bit.

To avoid any confusion the #7 Line is sold.

The #6 is still for sale.
