Default Hand Tied French/Czech Nymphing Leaders

These hand tied french leaders from Guides Choice are a fantastic all round nymphing leader.
Hand tied from the original Kamoufil. They are the best leaders I have used for short line nymphing whether you are fishing two small bead heads or three larger Czech nymph style flies these leaders are up to the job.

I have two types available
One is 4.9 mtr or approx 16ft and finishes with a .16mm tippet approx 4X (6.8 LB)

The other has a built-in Hi-Vis Indicator of green, yellow and red leader material and is finished with a perfection loop the leader itself is 3.1 mtrs long, this allows you to add your own tippet,. I generally use about two Mtrs of tippet between the loop and the point fly.
These leaders are £8.00 including P&P

Please contact me by PM or email
orders@guideschoice.co.uk

Thanks for looking

Frank Williams

Hi Frank I would be interested in giving them a try but I am a bit worried about the knots catching in the rod rings while playing a good fish, have you caught any large fish while using them ? Regards PJ.

Hi Paddy, I have been using these leaders for quite some time now and have not had any problems. With the leaders length of 5mtrs most of the time the whole leader is out of the rod tip any way so does not cause a problem but even when I have then with the knots it the rod rings my experience is that they don't catch..

Corky, the taper of this leaders is pretty good in all conditions. I may change to a different taper if intend to fish dries all day but on the most part I stick with my French Nymphing Leaders. Although I do have some specialist Dry fly leaders that I will be posting next week.

I am off to the CLA game fair this afternoon so I will not be posting out any more leaders till after the weekend

Brilliant leaders, if you can't be assed making up your own or wanna learn how to do your own, get these for sure.

If you think about the time, effort and material that goes into making these, the price is irrelevent.

The Pirate.

Please forgive my ignorance & naivety as I'm a relative newcomer to the sport, how would I fish using these leaders, how do you use the indicators, where do you tie them on & would you use a finer tippet on the end of the leader, if so, what length?

And what rod weight & length would be suitable.

Thanks

Simon
