Default Winner of the Sportfish Covershot Competition

Thank you to everyone who entered the Sportfish Cover shot Competition. We are now ready to announce the winner.

After scrutinising every single entry, Sportfish has chosen the "Loch Bornish, South Uist" photo entered by Cap'n Fishy as the winner. We here at Fish&Fly HQ agree that it is a wonderful choice and believe the way Cap'n Fishy capture the colours and movements of the trout is extraordinary.

Congratulations Cap'n Fishy, here is your winning entry:

Sportfish would like us to convey the following message:

''Sportfish are delighted with the very high standard of entries received for this competition and would like to thank everyone that took the trouble to take part. We would very much like to run this competition again next year so please start thinking about your entry now. The judges were really impressed with Cap'n Fishy's superb photo - it captures the spirit of the competition wonderfully. A great fishing picture - well done. A worthy winner''

Cap'n Fishy's entry will feature on one of Sportfish catalogue covers next year. We will make sure you are the first to know when it is going to print. A gift voucher for £100 is also on its way to you Cap'n Fishy.

Watch this space!

Sofi

PS: Make sure that you get that camera out of the cupboard and get snapping (on high quality setting of course) so you are ready for next year’s competition.
