I've uploaded one Simmo.

Can anyone tell me why admins have set the file size limit is 100kb?

The file size limit is probably so that the image displays quicker in the browser. I can see that being an issue for most who don't have imaging software and just want to upload a photo. Not making this easy mmmm

Even still, 100kb is tiny, especially if you want to upload a good quality picture (not that I take any ). I have however seen some photos on here that are larger than 100kb and you can see the difference in quality. So, how can some people have larger upload limits?

Default March photo competition closed

I hereby officially close the March photo competition. Thank you to all members who entered the competition there are some amazing photos and we will have a difficult time choosing a winner. We are choosing a winner after the Easter holidays. Remember the winner gets a £50 gift voucher to spend with grommit at Game Fishing Supplies.

In the meantime you may want to enter a photo in the April competition, it is open:

Go to Aprils photo competition

I would like to see some more entries in the April competition, surely we can get more than 14 entries, we are after all about 23000 people enjoying this forum.

Happy Easter!

What's happening with the voting Sofi? Not done by the members now then? And what about the Canine comp? Same 'panel' procedure?

Hi Scratch,
I think we had a few issues with the voting option, therefore it was decided that HQ chooses the winner (with help from a trained photographer).

The end date for the canine competition has not been set yet, but it should not be long.
