Default Greys GRXI+ Fly Rods

The GRXI+ from Greys is superior in every way to its predecessors. Built on totally new, redesigned high modular carbon blanks, the new range gives you more power in the butt section yet still has the fast recovery speed loved by all anglers. Advances in rod building technology have allowed us to now offer an improved rod in a 4 piece make up, making transportation easier. The GRXi+ also features a new handle style that gives hard wearing Multi-Composite Cork at wear points. New Saltwater models now mean that the GRXi+ range can answer any questions asked, anywhere in the world.

Features:
- Saltwater Safe Double Nut Up-locking Reel Seat
- Expanded Range to include Saltwater Models
- Line-Up Marks
- Sectioned Cordura tube
- Lazer Engraved handle logo
- Single Line Ratings

I'm sure they have the new GRXI-+ in sizes below 9ft, And I'm not sure I like the new handle! Also your saying they've made it a fast actioned rod?

That lets me out, I hate the tip and fast actioned rods! No pleasure in fishing with them!

This review suggests it's middle-to-tip and yet he says it's an 'out and out casting machine'... I don't understand where the two meet. I guess you have to try one (which makes a nonsense of these reviews )

I've got the 7' #3 - it's definitely not "fast". Very pleased with it - does the job perfectly well, great for protecting very light tippets.

I fished with a 10ft #7 GRXi+ all day on Melvin today and I ended up having to put it down on the last few drifts...really not for me but if you've got arms like Arnie and you like a poker of a rod you may be ok.

I have a 7.6ft #3/4 the last model GRXI, and it's a lovely soft action, I also prefer the old handle.
