hardy marksman rell

has anybody had problems with the hardy marksman,I bought a 5/6 wt earlier in the year and was very happy with it,I bought a 4wt on offer last month,it seized complety on friday and spoilt a full days fishing,i need to remember a spare reel in future.

Take a look here Bill.
Hardy Marksmen Reel Fault
Saying that, I have had several Marksman reels, and still own a #3/4 and I have had no problems at all.
I recently bought the replacement model the Ultralite CC 2000, far better design IMO.

I had the same problem just a couple of months after owning the reel. Sent it back to Hardy and got it repaired under warranty.

Seems to be a common problem. Nice reel though.
