Default Stream Works Nippers

Hello All

To cut a long story short I went for a look around a tackle shop last week, while I was there I thought I would pick up a nice pair of line nipper's to put on my new vest. As in the past I have only used nail clippers.

Anyway I saw some that really caught my eye extemely well packaged declaring more gadgets on them than a Swiss Army Knife. I couldn't actually handle them as they were in a plastic molded package but they looked very well made.

I got them home (I think you can guess where this is going) I took them out of the packet and they just fell apart. The build quality of the nippers left alot to be desired they were dreadful and for the price of £12.99 as they were apparently the deluxe version they were just not worth it. All I can say is at least Dick Turpin wore a mask.

The nippers are I believe quite new to the market, they are made by Stream Works and called Ultimate Nippers.

If you are looking for any in my honest opinion stay well away from these.

The shop where I purchased them were great They offered to replace them but I paid extra and got some Fishpond ones instead.

Cheers all

Yep I had the same problem, It literally fell apart at the first time of using it

The fly threader broke, the magnet fell off, the eye cleaner pull right off.
As it would cost me more to return it to the shop I just binned it
