I've used this supplier many times, he seems a good bloke and would probably refund you if you're not happy

Regards

He's sold 149 of them and still has a positive ebay rating of 99.4.

I have also had 1 or 2 orders with the seller and found them reliable. Please give feedback on the flies as I might order some

Works out at about 20p a fly not counting the value of the box. The dealing sounds ok.The flies won't be top quality at this price but usable.

I have 2 catalogues and I am sure they were included with an order from this company via ebay, they are from yorkshiregameangling.co.uk I can't be 100% as they may have been included with an order from Orvis but I doubt it very much.

The question I ask myself is ... how can someone sit and tie 200 flies and sell them in a box for £35? Surely the idea of a sale is to make money? That suggests to me the flies are mass tied by third world peasants, paid a pittance, working long hours in some far eastern sweat shop. Anyone can practice and mimic something else, even blackbirds can mimic, so it's not too hard for someone, who doesn't understand what the flies are meant to look like, or meant to be used for, to tie a fly that looks right. In my experience the tier doesn't understand that the fly will become sodden wet and will be fired backwards and forwards through the air at great speeds, therefore they don't have the understanding of why the flies not only need look like they do, but have to be tied securely, and in my experience the cheap flies fall apart.
