NRS Web Titanium Rogue Glove
NRS Web Titanium Rogue Glove

Default NRS Web Titanium Rogue Glove

Click the image to open in full size. Hi All, Iv'e been using this glove for just over a month and thought people should be aware of it. NRS Web are based in the US, but have dealerships in Europe and the UK. You can vistit their site at nrsweb.com

The Build: The Titanium Rogue glove is a full fingered 2mm Neoprene glove with a full palm and finger pad. These gloves are very well constructed, which is evident by their performance so far. Fully taped seams, give the user total confidence with no compromise. Plus the tight fitting splash cuff, gives a snug fit, even under a jacket.

The palm and finger pad does take some getting used to, but this is minor when you consider, the added benefit of a good insulator and being waterproof.

Iv'e worn these during the really cold spells, we experienced here and I have to say, these are very good quality. I used these when there was ice on the water, with no hindrance to their performance, no leaks, even after dunking.

If you order these then please make sure you use the fitting guide. This will ensure a good, snug fit. Having a glove that's too big won't do you any favours, likewise having too tight a fit will reduce circulation in your hands. Raynaud's Syndrome suffers, will benefit from the insulation these provide.

Because these are full fingered gloves, there is no chance of water seepage toward your palm, unlike the split fingered gloves some are using at the moment.

Delivery to a mainland UK address for one pair of gloves, recorded next day delivery is currently £3.95.

I'll end this with the dealer info for the UK attached.

Best Regards
Stuart

I have a pair of Aldi neoprene gloves which I was looking forward to trying and reporting on.
These are the ones which you can fold back the thumb and index finger of for better feel.

I've used them for dog-walking over the last two months but haven't tried fishing in them, mainly because they are a bit restrictive, and not really any warmer than the old trusty Barbour fingerless mitts - both bloody cold at minus 5 degs and colder. The Barbours however are very comfortable and not at all restrictive. They work well at anything from 0 degs upwards.

I can see why neoprenes would work when windsurfing and canoeing, but I can't see any application in fishing, at least not the kind of fishing I do. I appreciate the reviewed gloves are full-fingered, and will make a difference re being waterproof, but TBH my skin is fairly waterproof so I'm really looking for warmth with no restriction.

Having said all that (and I appreciate that much of it has been said elsewhere) it's a well-thought-out and helpful review by smudger564, so thanks for that.

I've had a pair of Wychwood fingerless gloves which were made with a high quality 2mm Japanese neoprene that contained Titanium and they were superb, the beauty is they dont absorb water like fleece ones when handling fish. Worn them in Russia many times well into the minuses when fleece ones would freeze solid!
