Aldi thermal trousers - special purchase.
Aldi thermal trousers - special purchase.
Warm, breathable, comfortable. A great buy at £10.99.

Default Aldi thermal trousers - special purchase.

ALDI - Thursday Special Buys 30th September 2010

I've had a pair of these trousers for a year, and worn them regularly throughout last Autumn and Winter, and this Spring (until it warmed up) for dog-walking.

They've come out of the cupboard ready for the cold weather - good as new.

These are an Aldi "Special Buy". This means they only supply a few pairs to each Store once a year, so if you want some arrive early on Thursday.
They are light, a good fit, well-made, warm, and teflon-coated (shrugs dirt off, most of it anyway)
They are also quiet in the field (good for bird-watching/shooting etc).

They are easily comparable to £50 outdoor trousers I've bought in the past.

£10.99 - worth every penny.

You will be needing thermal longjohns too for when it is cold. I've used them for many months including the "summer", i like them, the price is good, but i don't find them warm enough in "proper" cold weather.

Just bought a pair of thermal trousers from ALDI £10.99 be aware they are a generous fit; and elasticated waist, I bought the small size, I like a snug fitting! I'm 5ft.11in tall, have a 31in waist, and the pair I bought fit nicely!

You'll need to be quick though, they're selling fast! Well worth the money!

Bl**dy hell Mostyn, you must be a snake hips, I've just bought some in medium (5ft 10in, 34/31) and they fit comfortably over my suit trs plus are the right length. (Tried them on in the shop with a cpl of grannies advising on how they looked - no shame these Geordies eh? ). I'm planning to wear them over my Columbia fleece winter trs and even with long johns too as a 3 layer system if it gets Baltic.
On their own they'll be ok for general walking etc on those days when you're never sure if you need overtrousers.

Me to, I read this thread; and on Mostyn's advice, went strait to Aldi, also tried them on in store, with advise from onlookers!! " look nice don't they, keep you warm them will, etc" were the comments. Bought the ladies medium size, all the men's medium sizes were sold out. Good value, IMO
