A few years ago I purchased a new C class estate, and at the same tme ordered a set of their own brand aluminium roof rails. These are the type that fit accross the factory fitted roof bars.
Believe it or not, they cost £165 ridiculous I know, but I have to say they are top notch, locking, and aerodynamically designed, and make no wind noise whatsoever when fitted.
I sold the car some time ago, and then used them on a Citroen C5 estate, and latterly a Volvo V50 touring.
I have no further need for them now, as my present car doesn't have fitted roof bars.
They were used about twice, and are in mint condition.
They come with two locking keys, and will fit most estates of that size as they have quite a bit of adjustment.
When not in use they can simply be detached, or the front one pushed to the back, which then looks like a rooftop spoiler, they are so well designed they cause virtually no drag whatsoever.
I am looking for £40 for them, and carrier costs, which will be £7.50.
