Humminbird Wrist Mounted Smartcast. Used 3 times. Paid £120, sell for £60. Very handy for float tubers.

Do these things actually work, I mean with any degree of accuracy? I've often wondered whether they are more gimmick than gadget.

do not know about the one that fits onto your wrist,but i have the one that you have to cast out the transducer and you have a five inch screen in the boat,works a treat for me,will not catch you any more fish!lol

I use one, to establish depths, structures and drop-offs with my float tube. It's great for that.
