I was out on the LOM today and my boat Partner caught a new 'species' on a sz 14 diawl bach,hooked perfectly in the scissors.I netted it for him.he unhooked it and did a fine job of releasing it none the worse for it's adventure.well done Ian. Dont know who was more surprised You Or the juvenile Great Crested Grebe

umm do i now add that to my list of must catch species? ive had ducks and swans b4 ive often wondered when cormorant are about if they would chase my lures?

He was Fig Of 8'ing ,when this bow wave started where his cast was,then his line just shot away.He lifted into it and all hell broke lose.only thing it didn't try was flying
