Hi Big_Bass;

Try frogs, leeches, poppers and mouse. A large flashy streamer will also work.

Take care

Terry

I always did well on clousers, barboufaces in black, poppers and big deer head divery types.

The nice thing about bass.... they will eat about anything. Surface poppers offer heart stopping strikes. I'd say just about any fly... as long as it's weedless. You'll be fishing close to cover where ambush fish like the bass wait for that "easy meal" to come swimming by. It's nice to have a fly you can toss into the thick weeks and lilly pads and slowly work it out without fear of geting snagged.

I like keel hooks... they are fairly weedless and the hook is right at the rear of the fly so you can usually hook those short striking fish. Problem is, no body makes them any more. I have to bend my own.
