i was mullet fishing today in an estuary with my newly tied bread flies,when a monster carp took one on the drop my biggest carp so far has been 25lb (not on the fly mind) but this was bigger it must have been pushing 30lb and for a river carp it was perfect looking aswell,dark in colour thick and long.my 3.5 lb line was never going to stop it . im well gutted this will bother me for years now...

How do you tie your bread flies? I've tried a few concoctions, with a modicum of success.. but no 'whopper' has yet been fooled!
