The small fry has no bend or point on the hook, I think if something grabbed it, it wouldn't be on long enough to bite through.

Never ever use standard mono for pike traces of any kind.....Try these by West Coast Angling, Grind line pike fly traces, they are especially for pike fly fishing and in my mind they are impossible to beat.......Very good price too........http://stores.ebay.ie/West-Coast-Ang...=p4634.c0.m322

Oh welcome to the forum

link don't work, found the ebay shop and dont like the look of the leaders either.
no wire of any kind, so dont go there. unless a miracle product that no one has heard of has been released.
promoting your business is fine as long as its top kit at a fair price

best advertising is still word of mouth.......

For the people using Seaguar Fluoro how are you attaching the leader to the fly line?
Thanks
Steve

If your fly line has a welded loop on the end then, just tie a perfection loop at the end of your fluoro and attach via loop to loop. Otherwise attach using a nail knot or a needle knot.

Also, if your fly line doesn't have a welded loop then you can always attach a braided loop.
