Default Snowbee Pike lines any good?

As i said above, are the Snowbeen Pike fly lines anygood?

The Snowbee line is dark green and rated 8/9wt.
I am not keen on green intrermediate lines so does anyone do a 9wt clear intermediate Pike line?
Why are these lines not rated 8 or 9wt instead of both like most other lines?
Does it matter much?

Cheers

Munro

I fished with Russell last saturday on Lough Derg. no marks for guessing what he was using. It's a great line. Sinks well and shoots out of the rod a mile
