It's the lake district or Scotland. Take your pick.

The Ice Age glaciers didn't leave any charr in SE England.

There are put and take fisheries that stock farmed fish, or are you looking for natural bred ones? In which case certain Scottish lochs or NW Ireland offer you your best chance with a fly.

The Ice Age did leave charr in several Irish loughs destined to become in Ulster. To save any unfortunate Donegal border incidents, and because I don't want to put any undue pressure on that area's very fragile charr stocks, I suggest 'stuart m' motors up the M6/M54 to Shropshire's Cound fishery where charr aplenty are stocked. A Forum search will find several threads on charr there .
