hi hibbs

i wouldn't class myself as being good with epoxy, im only playing with epoxy a few months and tieing around 6. so i'll let the expierenced add to it.
applying the epoxy

i use this
UKSALTWATERFLIES.COM: Devcon 5 minute clear epoxy

mixing up enough for a fly or a few flys, i apply it very lightly normaly over two coats. gently drip in on useing mc donanlds coffee stirrers. you must be quick and not apply to much at one time (says me) once your happy of an even distribution i then add it to the drying wheel. this all happens in under 30 seconds. i then add another coat if needs be. i think im going to go to bug bond, three secound zap with a uv lamp and its hard, im also suffering some sort of allergy to the epoxy as my head feels like its going to explode if i have being down a few flys. hope this helps, i also look foward to what the others gota say

Steve,

In your case you are doing the right thing moving away from epoxy ! It is possible to become sensitized to that stuff and further contact is not a good idea ! Besides, love the three second zap with a uv lamp,

Nigel
