Default pike flies

What are the top fly patterns for pike? I've just invested in new kit for pike and would be interested to hear of a few successful patterns.

It depends on what fish are in the water you are fishing, but perch/ roach and small jack pike patterns work well. here are a few i have tied up,

These have all worked for me, top left perch. top right small jack, bottom roach colors.

Hi, they are tied on half circle hooks, very sharp and strong. plus very cheap

Here is a photo of them.

The other flies are tied on AD SWIAR hooks.
Plus the hooks also bend ok , so that you can make them in to a keel hook. which as you know works well as a weed less hook. look at photo below.

Here is a fly tied on the reshaped hook.

Wink

John,

Tie up a few of these in silver and gold - you'll not need anything else!

Most flies in rod and white seem to work well for me.
Nothing to do with my footy team!
