What started off as so so average fishing has really heated up. Since returning from the Amazon fishing was very average but as of yesterday the fishing turned up a couple of notches with some of the best topwater action of the year. With the weather cooling off a bit this should only continue for the next couple of weeks. Yesterday's catch's totaled 45 peacock bass, 14 largemouth bass, a couple of Jack Crevelle and some Mayan cichlids. Peacock bass were schooling up as well.
