Default My biggest on a dry fly.

I caught this chub about a month ago in the River Lee near Enfield Lock (not the canal). It took a large sedge fly, and at around 3 1/2 lbs. is probably my biggest fish to date on a dry fly. Unfortunately I took a very poor picture, but here it is.

Nice fish, Dave! On the smaller rivers I fish I get as many chub as I do trout, but I've never caught anything bigger than 1.5 lbs. Like you, I've been successful with sedges, especially the G&H Sedge, and on Parachute Adams, Hoppers, Klinkhamers and various nymphs. Here's one caught on a black montana nymph.
